Sodexo is looking for an experienced and proactive Catering Supervisor to join our team at North Wall Quay.
This is a key role supporting the day-to-day delivery of hospitality services, with responsibility for coordinating bookings, supporting the team and ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, customer service and presentation.
You’ll work closely with management and the wider hospitality team to ensure customer requirements are met and every meeting, event and hospitality booking is delivered professionally and efficiently.
Supervise and support the hospitality team, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and customer service
Coordinate meeting room and hospitality bookings, ensuring requests are managed efficiently and responded to promptly
Support the day-to-day operation, including stock management and labour control
Ensure customer requirements and expectations are consistently met and exceeded wherever possible
Brief team members on hospitality bookings and events, ensuring everyone understands the required service standards
Support the training and development of team members, providing refresher training where required
Carry out regular checks of meeting rooms to ensure they are clean, tidy and correctly set up
Ensure staff presentation, uniforms and professional standards are maintained
Promote a positive, professional and can-do approach across the team
Ensure food and beverage handling and storage complies with all relevant hygiene requirements
Work closely with management and other teams to ensure a seamless hospitality service
Support evening events when required
Previous experience in a hospitality, catering or similar supervisory role is essential
Proven ability to deliver a high level of customer service in a professional environment
Experience coordinating hospitality, meeting room or event requirements is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high service standards
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a wider team
A self-motivated, flexible and proactive approach
Professional presentation and a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues

Please note: The role is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evening work required to support hospitality events and business requirements.
