Job Introduction
At Sodexo, we create exceptional dining experiences that make a real difference every day. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Runner to join our hospitality team.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the staff restaurant, helping maintain smooth service and high presentation standards. You’ll also provide flexible support across back-of-house and front-of-house areas, assisting the team and keeping the dining environment clean and organised.

What you’ll do:
- Work on your feet in a fast-paced environment, using strong communication and organizational skills to keep service running smoothly.
- Deliver food quickly and accurately from the kitchen or service stations to serving or buffet areas, ensuring proper temperature and presentation.
- Assist servers and banquet staff with guest needs, from refilling beverages to bringing extra items, keeping guests happy and supported.
- Help set up and take down events, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment as needed to create a seamless experience.
- Serve as the link between kitchen and service teams, making sure food reaches guests on time and requests are handled efficiently.
What you bring:
- Stay on your feet for long periods while maintaining composure and a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Use strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively under pressure and support the team.
- Assist various departments, including bussers, servers, and chefs, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Be flexible with working hours, including covering absences, overtime, and different shifts as needed.
- No prior experience required, though previous hospitality, running, or customer service experience is a plus.
