Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Are you an experienced Catering Manager who enjoys leading a team and delivering great food and service?
We’re looking for a confident and passionate Catering Manager to take ownership of the catering operation at Oasis Academy John Williams in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants a great work-life balance, with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern, no weekend working and a term-time-only contract.
What you'll be doing
As Catering Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school catering operation, leading your team and ensuring pupils and staff receive a high-quality food service every day.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating and developing the catering team.
- Overseeing food preparation and service.
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and allergen standards.
- Managing stock, budgets and food costs.
- Working closely with the school to deliver an outstanding service.
- Introducing creative menus, themed events and activities to increase pupil engagement.
- Building strong relationships with the school, pupils and Sodexo colleagues.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous catering management or supervisory experience.
- Is confident leading and motivating a team.
- Has a passion for food and customer service.
- Has good knowledge of food safety and allergen management.
- Is organised, proactive and confident managing a busy catering operation.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Experience within education catering would be desirable but isn't essential.
