Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 Fully Flexible (Early Shift 7am - 3.30pm and Late Shifts 11am - 7.30pm)
Contract: 52 weeks, Permanent, Full Time

About the Role

As a Food Service Assistant / General Assistant, you’ll assist in the presentation of food services, maintaining a high standard of service and hygiene. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas
• Replenish food displays and service counters as required
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors
• Undertake all aspects in the cleaning of equipment – walls (up to 6ft), floors, fixtures and fittings, to the companies’ standard according to the cleaning rota as required and directed
• Assist as directed, with all aspects of preparation and presentation of food to the company’s standards, utilising recipes from the central system and to have full knowledge of all allergen information prior to service.
• Accept deliveries, recording necessary temperatures and putting away as set out by safeguard and your line manager.
• Be a front line ambassador of Sodexo, and to project a welcoming, efficient and professional attitude to our customers at all times.
