Deliver a high-quality catering service

Sodexo is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Catering Assistant to join our team in Leopardstown.

You’ll support the day-to-day catering operation, helping with food preparation and service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and customer service.

What you’ll do

• Assist with food and beverage preparation, presentation and service

• Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service

• Set up and replenish food service counters

• Support tea and coffee stations and general service areas

• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, following correct stock rotation procedures

• Complete cleaning duties across kitchen, dining and service areas

• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, cleanliness and presentation

• Follow all relevant food safety, Health & Safety and site procedures

• Support special functions and events when required

• Work flexibly across the operation and support colleagues during busy periods

• Participate in training and support the induction of new colleagues where required

What you’ll bring

• Previous catering, hospitality or food service experience is desirable but not essential

• A professional and customer-focused approach

• Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

• Reliable, flexible and willing to support the wider team

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
