What you'll do

• Prepare and cook food to a high standard in line with stadium and brand specifications
• Assist with food preparation before service periods, including portioning, chopping, and stock organisation
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation during busy matchday service
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment to meet high customer demand
• Follow all food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations at all times
• Ensure kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas are kept clean and organised
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure safe food handling procedures are followed
• Support stock rotation and minimise food waste in line with kitchen procedures
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
• Assist with receiving, storing, and replenishing kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and kitchen management during service
• Help with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and equipment checks
• Adapt to varying menus, event requirements, and fluctuating service demands
• Maintain professionalism and composure during high-pressure matchday operations

What you'll bring

• Passionate about food and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment
• Previous chef, kitchen, catering, or food preparation experience essential
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure during busy matchday periods
• Strong understanding of food hygiene, allergen awareness, and kitchen safety procedures
• Team player with good communication and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the wider kitchen team
• Able to follow instructions and work to set recipes and presentation standards
• Comfortable working in a high-volume stadium or event catering environment
• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and consistency
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing service demands and event requirements
