This is an incredible opportunity to join our team at Sodexo Live! St James’ Park, Newcastle United Football Club for season 2026/27. Following on from our biggest season yet, we are looking to start the new upcoming season where we left off.

What you'll do

  • Deliver high-quality food and beverage service to guests within private hospitality boxes on matchdays and event days
  • Provide a professional, friendly, and personalised service experience for corporate guests, VIPs, and supporters
  • Prepare hospitality boxes before service, including table setup, refreshments, glassware, and presentation standards
  • Serve food, drinks, and hospitality packages efficiently and accurately throughout events
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, beverages, and hospitality offerings to assist guests confidently
  • Ensure hospitality boxes remain clean, organised, and fully stocked during service periods
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests or enquiries
  • Liaise effectively with kitchen, bar, and hospitality teams to ensure smooth and timely service
  • Operate tills and payment systems accurately where required
  • Follow all food hygiene, allergen, health & safety, and licensing regulations at all times
  • Assist with stock replenishment, clearing tables, and resetting hospitality areas during and after service
  • Handle guest feedback or issues professionally to maintain a premium hospitality experience
  • Support opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning tasks
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold stadium hospitality standards throughout all events
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure stadium environment while maintaining excellent customer care
  • Confident when solo working

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in hospitality, VIP service, corporate hospitality, or food and beverage service essential
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and creating a premium guest experience
  • Professional, polished, and confident when interacting with corporate guests, VIPs, and supporters
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hospitality standards
  • Able to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced matchday environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and large-scale events
  • Positive attitude with a team-focused approach and willingness to support colleagues
  • Comfortable serving food and beverages in private hospitality boxes and premium areas
  • Able to anticipate guest needs and respond professionally to requests or complaints
  • Good organisational and multitasking skills during busy service periods
  • Confident following food hygiene, allergen, health & safety, and licensing procedures
  • Well-presented with a professional and approachable manner at all times
