Salary £32,500 per year
We are looking for a confident and people focused Café Supervisor to lead the day to day operation of our spa café at Fulham Pier. This is a unique opportunity to join a wellness led hospitality environment where service is calm, personalised and centred around supporting member wellbeing.
Working closely with the Spa Manager, you will oversee service delivery, support the café assistant, and ensure every guest enjoys a seamless experience before and after treatments, training sessions and spa visits.
This is not a traditional café role. It sits within a premium spa environment and plays a key part in delivering a complete wellness journey.
What you will be doing
- Leading the daily operation of the spa café
- Supervising the preparation and presentation of smoothies, functional drinks and light dishes
- Supporting the delivery of pre and post treatment nutrition journeys
- Coaching the café assistant to deliver warm and knowledgeable service
- Building strong relationships with members and regular guests
- Promoting supplements, recovery products and wellness retail items
- Managing stock control and minimising waste
- Overseeing till operation and daily reconciliation
- Maintaining exceptional presentation and cleanliness standards
- Acting as the first point of contact for guest queries and feedback
- Supporting revenue performance through confident product recommendations
- Working closely with therapists, fitness coaches and reception teams to deliver a seamless guest journey
What we are looking for
- Experience in a supervisor or team leader role within hospitality
- Confidence working in a premium guest focused environment
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Interest in nutrition, wellness or healthy lifestyle products
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Barista or café preparation experience preferred
Experience within a spa, wellness café or members club environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
