Are you passionate about providing pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and supporting rehabilitation? HMP Forest Bank is seeking a dedicated Anglican Chaplain to join our multi-faith Chaplaincy Team on a part-time basis.
At HMP Forest Bank, we are committed to supporting people in custody to make positive changes in their lives. Serving the courts of Greater Manchester, we maintain strong links with local communities and focus on rehabilitation, resettlement, and reducing reoffending.
As an Anglican Chaplain, you will play a vital role in ensuring the diverse religious and spiritual needs of prisoners and staff are met. Working collaboratively within a multi-faith environment, you will:
HMP Forest Bank is a modern prison with a capacity of 1,460 men, including both remand and sentenced prisoners, as well as young adults aged 18–21. Facilities include healthcare, education, workshops, gym, library, visits centre, chaplaincy, and more.
