About the role
At Sodexo, we’re passionate about the services we deliver, and we place our customers at the heart of everything we do. To provide this service, we’ve a Mailroom Team behind us and we currently have a vacancy for a Mailroom Operative to join us in Cambridge!
You will maintain accurate records of mailroom activity, X-ray all incoming mail, establish security measures as necessary and notify clients when items are ready for pickup. Deliver mail internally, or frank and bag them for pickup by outside mail and arrange courier pick-ups when necessary. Also, ensure maximum security of the post room by keeping valuables safely stored away plus deliver urgent items or packages to other businesses or offices.

A few things about you
You are a customer focused individual with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels. You will be a forward thinker with a methodical approach, exceptional planning, and excellent organisational, communication and I.T skills.
As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be procedures to follow such as Health & Safety, so it is vital that you can champion this.

40 hours per week
£11.29 per hour
Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 16.30
