HR Bid Manager

Job Introduction

A fantastic opportunity to join one of the world’s leading Facilities Management companies. The role will focus on providing commercially focused strategic HR input and solutions on all key HR aspects of the Justice Services bids. To work with the HR group to ensure the impacts and requirements of bids are fully understood and utilised in project mobilisation and transfer to business as usual stages.

Role Responsibility

  • To coordinate and write the HR elements of relevant Bid Documentation
  • Provide commercially focused strategic HR input and solutions on all key HR aspects of the Justice Services bids
  • To support and lead where relevant client interface e.g. Commercial Dialogue, Client Bid presentation
  • To work with the HR group to ensure the impacts and requirements of bids are fully understood and utilised in project mobilisation and transfer to business as usual stages.
  • Act as point of contact on bid requirements to the HR team, advising of Bid Pipeline, Bid status, Bid timelines and bid requirements
  • Lead the provision of HR related data and input into the bid submission, this would include leading the writing of HR sections, working and agreeing mobilisation timelines, working with specialist partners on recruitment strategies, learning & development strategies and TUPE, resourcing and restructuring
  • Working with the Programme Manager and relevant Business Development to ensure timely provision of a high quality bid is achieved e.g. proof reading, ad hoc bid tasks
  • Perform and participate in continuous improvement actions e.g. lessons learned activities, review of financial model formats, review opportunities to create and implement innovation via HR into the bid.
  • Support the SJS HR team – help shape HR strategy to be reflective of bid requirements and volumes

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Broad Generalist HR background, in particular recruitment and selection, L&D, ER (including TUPE) and engagement.
  • Good interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), influence and impact, working with others
  • Project Management skills and disciplines including workload prioritisation

Desirable

  • Understanding of Justice industry and environment
  • Systemic thinking and innovation
  • Strategic thinking

Package Description

£45,000 to £47,000 plus benefits
