Join our dedicated team at Nuffield Health Guildford and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through our food services. Your responsibilities will include preparing and assembling nutritious, safe, and hygienic meals tailored to our patients' needs, ensuring each dish is of the highest quality. Working collaboratively with both the ward and kitchen teams, you will contribute to providing a courteous and compassionate service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You’ll Do

  • Ensure accurate recording of temperatures and completion of all paperwork daily
  • Follow the cleaning schedule and maintain hygiene standards by cleaning work areas at the end of each shift
  • Communicate professionally with the Chef to meet food requirements, minimise waiting times, and reduce wastage
  • Serve patients, visitors, and staff politely and efficiently, adhering to dietary and presentation standards
  • Maintain and refill coffee machines as needed, ensuring fresh drinking water is always available for patients
  • Adhere to all legislation, client, and company policies related to patient meal service
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within guidelines, with a focus on reducing waste and maintaining an organised work environment
