General Services Manager - Private Healthcare

Job Introduction

This is an exceptional opportunity to enhance your operational management career. One of Sodexo’s prestigious private Healthcare clients requires an experienced General Manager to oversee the delivery of a first class service and maintain strong client relationships.

Role Responsibility

  • Efficient management of a 30 bed patient feeding operation (plus outpatients) and grounds maintenance services
  • Ensuring overall operational efficiency and ultimate delivery of exceptional services to client and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance on a weekly basis to ensure that margins are achieved.  Be fully conversant with actual performance to ensure that any variances can be justified and explained
  • Maximise the profitability of the contract.
  • Ensure that a Five Star customer service is delivered at all times – in the quality of food and customer service.
  • Ensure all foods served in areas of responsibility are of the correct quality and presented to the correct standard
     

The Ideal Candidate

  • Operational knowledge, skills and experience in a I similar environment – Ideally, private healthcare, hotels or independent schools
  • Management of Profit and Loss Accounts and acting on their results
  • Management of a team in a multi service environment
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for high end food and service
  • First class communication skills are essential with ability to liaise with senior figures in the client organisation
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver innovative ideas surrounding patient feeding services
