We’re looking for a hands-on supervisor to lead weekend cleaning operations at our manufacturing site. At Sodexo, we value you for being you. Supervise, motivate, and support cleaning operatives to ensure high standards are achieved
Allocate shift tasks and ensure schedules are completed in full
Monitor cleaning standards through inspections, spot checks, and quality reviews
Ensure all cleaning activities comply with GMP, SOPs, COSHH, and hygiene standards
Maintain audit readiness and support factory inspections and compliance checks
Complete and verify schedules, sign-in records, timesheets, and compliance paperwork
Monitor attendance, break times, and productivity levels
Provide on-the-job training, support inductions, and identify training needs
Address performance issues through coaching and escalation where required
Ensure equipment is safe, maintained, and ready for use
Conduct safety checks, report hazards, and support risk assessments
Liaise with site management, hygiene teams, and client representatives
Carry the onsite phone when required and respond to reactive or emergency cleaning needs
Provide hands-on cleaning support to maintain service standards
Supervisory experience within cleaning, industrial, or manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of hygiene standards, compliance, and safe working practices
Knowledge of COSHH, risk assessments, and safe chemical handling
Ability to ensure adherence to SOPs and GMP requirements
Strong people management and team motivation skills
Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving ability
Confident completing documentation and compliance records
Proactive, hands-on leadership approach
Ability to build positive working relationships with site teams and clients
