We are looking to recruit a professional, customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Johnnie Walker, 145 Princes Street, Edinburgh. As the face of the security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors while delivering exceptional service. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile site in a central location with excellent transport links.
As a Security Officer at Sodexo, your main duties will include:
Providing a high standard of customer service at all times
Monitoring site security systems, including CCTV
Carrying out regular patrols of the site
Responding promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
Access control and visitor management
Writing clear and concise incident reports
Supporting the wider team and maintaining a secure environment
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence and CCTV licence
Has previous experience in a similar security role
Is well-presented, reliable, and professional in their approach
Is confident using security systems and technology
Has excellent communication and observational skills
Is flexible with shifts and able to work 4 on / 4 off (12-hour shifts across day and night)
Has strong awareness of site safety and security procedures
Is able to pass all necessary site-specific security vetting
This role follows a 4 on / 4 off pattern, with shifts between 07:00–19:00, 09:00–21:00, 12:00–00:00, 12:30–00:30, and 19:00–07:00. You will work 42 hours per week.
