As a Security Officer at Diageo Woodside, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our colleagues, visitors, and clients. This is a visible role where professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
You’ll be working 60 hours per week over 5 days and must hold a valid SIA licence. If you're an experienced, dependable, and vigilant individual looking to join a professional security team, this could be your next move.
Monitor and authorise entry and exit of personnel and visitors
Carry out regular patrols of the premises
Respond to incidents and act in line with site procedures
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all events and incidents
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Support the client’s brand and reputation through excellent customer service
Operate CCTV (if licenced) and report any suspicious activity
Assist with emergency situations including evacuations or medical issues
Comply with all site-specific requirements and training
Maintain a strong security presence while being approachable and courteous
Valid SIA Security Guard Licence (required)
Full UK driving licence (required)
Minimum age 18 (required due to licencing laws)
CCTV licence and IOSH training (desirable)
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity
Able to work independently and manage challenging situations calmly
