We are seeking an experienced and professional Security Officer to join our team at Diageo Woodside in Bishops Stortford. This is a key frontline role within our Corporate Services segment, responsible for ensuring the safety, security and integrity of the site, its people and assets.

This position requires a confident, proactive individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high standards of service in a corporate environment.

What you’ll do

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors and contractors

• Control access and egress to the site in line with security protocols

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises and respond to incidents as required

• Monitor CCTV and security systems

• Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure compliance with site policies

• Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security logs

• Liaise with site management and emergency services where necessary

• Ensure all security procedures and compliance standards are upheld

What you bring

• Valid SIA Licence (essential)

• First Aid at Work (desirable)

• Previous experience in a corporate or high-profile security environment

• Strong observational and communication skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• Good IT literacy for reporting and system use

• A proactive and reliable approach to work

• Ability to obtain required site security vetting clearance

This role requires an experienced security professional who can operate confidently in a client-facing corporate setting.
