We are seeking an experienced and professional Security Officer to join our team at Diageo Woodside in Bishops Stortford. This is a key frontline role within our Corporate Services segment, responsible for ensuring the safety, security and integrity of the site, its people and assets.
This position requires a confident, proactive individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high standards of service in a corporate environment.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors and contractors
Control access and egress to the site in line with security protocols
Conduct regular patrols of the premises and respond to incidents as required
Monitor CCTV and security systems
Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure compliance with site policies
Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security logs
Liaise with site management and emergency services where necessary
Ensure all security procedures and compliance standards are upheld
Valid SIA Licence (essential)
First Aid at Work (desirable)
Previous experience in a corporate or high-profile security environment
Strong observational and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Good IT literacy for reporting and system use
A proactive and reliable approach to work
Ability to obtain required site security vetting clearance
This role requires an experienced security professional who can operate confidently in a client-facing corporate setting.
