About the role
Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. The KP will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation, ensuring chefs and kitchen teams can operate efficiently and safely during events and service periods.

What you'll do
- Cleaning allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety, health and safety policies, procedures and legislation as defined.
- Emptying bins, dispose of waste materials from catering areas to designated compactors
- Operate industrial dishwashers and glasswashers in all catering areas.
- Transport provisions, equipment and other catering related items as required.
- Always maintain clean working environment, with special regard to hygiene
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks when needed.
