Workplace Experience Lead (Facilities Management)

Wx, a Sodexo corp-up, have a brand-new role for a Workplace Experience Lead to join Sodexo with accountability across UK & Ireland to provide our customers with expertise on Workplace strategy and grow the Workplace business.

Wx is 100% owned by Sodexo and is a workplace experience studio. Wx helps corporations improve their workplace experience through 3 key levers: people, space and technology. Wx leverages data analytics (e.g. IoT, Smart Buildings technologies, etc.) and user experience techniques (e.g. design thinking, consumer journeys, etc.) to optimise space and total cost of occupancy whilst enhancing employee experience.

As Workplace Experience Lead you will have accountability to develop your pipeline and support the Corporate Services segment strategy to strengthen its presence on Workplace activities. You will advise existing and new clients on how to evolve their workplace strategy and employee experience based on technology, data analytics and user experience to produce a bespoke workplace strategy.

This is a fantastic and unique role in our structure and the Workplace Experience Lead will operate in a collaborative manner with other teams and act as the subject matter expert, you will be innovative, focused and manage and build key relationships internally and externally. It would be advantageous if you have a background in employee experience or customer experience in an FM company.

Role Responsibility

  • Grow the workplace business either directly through the Wx brand or through Sodexo-generated leads
  • Become the reference point and subject matter expert for all Workplace Topics (incl. Workplace Technology) in the region
  • Guarantee the alignment between regional Workplace Strategies and the Workplace Strategy defined at Group Level
  • Support the effort to grow capabilities in the key areas identified to date (esp. Project Management, Space Management, Workplace Analytics)
  • Identify, assess and participate to due diligence on key Workplace partners and potential acquisition targets
  • Participate in the Global Workplace Lead network, to share best practice, coordinate Global RFPs or Global contracts for all Workplace topics
  • Lead the Workplace sections of Strategic bids in the region
  • Coordinate the deployment of large contracts for all Workplace Topics
  • Manage the relationship with local Workplace partners
  • Participate in key communications efforts to raise the brand equity of Sodexo on Workplace topics
  • Support specific Wx projects in the region on an ad-hoc basis

The Ideal Candidate

  • An appropriate level of experience working in or with large organizations
  • Evidence of a strong background and experience in Workplace projects
  • Digital and technology acumen
  • Consultative mindset, able to identify opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to sell & deliver workplace-related missions or businesses
  • Very good communications skills
  • Strong team player
  • Very open to innovation and to bringing new solutions to problems
  • Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and to adapt to working with both large organizations and start-ups
