Location: Brimsdown, Enfield , EN3 7PW
Contract Type: Parttime, 10 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 08:00-13:00
Salary: £18.90 Per hour + Sodexo benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join ourteam at Johnson Matthey – Brimsdown. As part of the Sodexo catering team, youwill play a key role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customerservice to staff and guests. This is a hands-on role requiring a passion forfood, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to health and safetystandards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals following provided recipes
- Deliver excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Support with packed lunch preparation and dinner service
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen areas
- Complete due diligence paperwork using the Kelsius system
- Participate in performance reviews and training as required
- Work collaboratively with the team and independently when needed
- Adhere to all company and client policies, including health and safety and COSHH regulations
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a catering or cooking role
- Knowledge of food safety, allergens, and COSHH regulations
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and attention to detail
- Willingness to undertake relevant training
