We are now seeking an Waste and Porterage Manager to join our team at HMNP Portsmouth, PO1 4QT
What you’ll do:
- Provide daily oversight and coordination of international catering waste, recycling, garden waste, bulky waste, and commercial waste collection services
- Ensure the effective and efficient deployment of staff, vehicles, and resources to maintain service continuity and performance.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to minimise service disruptions
- To provide a high-quality Porter service to stakeholders and visitors, to undertake the movement of, light equipment, marques, in an efficient and safe manner
- Maintain clean and safe equipment and environment in accordance with the specification
What you bring:
- Previous experience of working in waste and porterage role
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
- Category B1, C1 and C2 Driving License
