Technical Services Manager

Hours: 40 Hours per week
Location: Hybrid (Regular Site Visits), areas covered are Manchester, London, Stoke, Hereford, and Stoke Mandeville
About the Role:
As a Technical Services Manager, you will be at the forefront of Asset Management and Technical Standards within our Healthcare Estates. Working closely with site leadership, contract teams, and strategic groups, you will ensure our assets are maintained to the highest standards, compliant with NHS and industry regulations, and aligned with our organisational objectives.
Your expertise will support the continuous improvement of our Asset Management Plans, oversee data collection and management within our PIM and CMMS systems, and lead complex projects to optimise operational performance. This is a customer facing, influential role that demands technical excellence, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the production, review, and management of Asset Management and Technical Standards.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure asset data is accurate, complete, and compliant with contractual and statutory requirements.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the Segment Asset Management Plan (SAMP).
- Manage asset data within PIM and CMMS (Maximo), ensuring timely updates and descoping of retired assets.
- Produce reports, SOPs, and workflows to streamline asset management processes.
- Engage with technical working groups, site leadership, and external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.
- Deliver training and development to enhance asset management capabilities across teams.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Extensive experience in a complex PFI or consortium environment.
- Proven change management skills in a process driven culture.
- Degree or equivalent in building engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to influence outcomes.
- Knowledge of BIM, CMMS, AI platforms, Microsoft 365, and AutoCAD.
