Job Title: Technical Operations Technician
Location: HMP Forest Bank, Agecroft Road, Salford

Purpose of the Job
The Technical Operations Technician supports the SJS & Education networks, including CCTV, alarm, cell call, access control, and phone systems. You will assist customers, log incidents, and work with the Technical Operations team to resolve issues and improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Complete daily system checks and maintain supporting documentation.
Log incidents and process basic change requests (e.g., user setup).
Escort third-party contractors and install new equipment.
Manage the ordering process, including POs, deliveries, and stock control.
Perform routine maintenance and participate in quarterly security audits.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of MS Office 365 and Windows 10 & 11.
Previous experience in IT support or similar role is a plus.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
Able to obtain SC clearance and Disclosure Scotland.
Willingness to work outside normal hours when required.
