Staff Shop Supervisor

Job Introduction

To provide and support a high quality & efficient staff shop service to clients both on and off site

Role Responsibility

  • Greeting customers who use the walk-up shop.
  • Manage all stock control, including Ordering, Monthly stock takes, write offs & Recalls.
  • Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
  • Being responsible for processing card payments.
  • Stocking shelves with merchandise.
  • Answering queries from customers.
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
  • Balancing credit card machine with receipts.
  • Dealing with customer refunds.
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean.
  • Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
  • Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
  • Keep online systems updated.
  • Responsible for security within the shop.
  • Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.
  • Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
  • Managing, Processing and distribution of all online orders.
 

The Ideal Candidate

 

Essential

  • Experience in cash/card transaction management.
  • Previous experience of stock management.
  • IT Literate.
  • Ability to work on own & as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Previous Supervisory/management Experience.
  • E-prophit or similar Financial system knowledge.
  • Previous experience with stock management IT Systems.
