Soft Services Manager

You will effectively manage the cleaning and grounds maintenance as well as security services on site.

What you’ll do: 

Manage cleaning, grounds and security staff resources and promote an ethos of team work to instil a culture of continuous improvement on all sites.
Support the management team in building long term relationships with clients, maintain existing business and identify new opportunities.
Ensure that the working environment is managed in line with company Health & Safety standards.
Recruit, induct and motivate a high performing team, to achieve their objectives.
Manage and control the services to the agreed specification and service standard required by contract.
Always look for opportunities to provide additional value to our client.
Ensure costs and expenditure are controlled in line with the budget and ensure forecasts and actuals are entered.
Be proactive in overcoming barriers to success. Provide feedback on how we can improve our performance.

What you bring:

Experience of developing a team with a ‘high performing’ culture.
Good communication skills.
It literate and financially astute.
Broad commercial experience and business acumen.
Experience working in a standards/compliance
IOSH – Not essential
