Site Dietician

As a Site Dietician at Sodexo Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Are you a passionate and experienced dietician looking to make a significant impact on patient health and well-being? Sodexo is seeking a Site Dietician to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As Site Dietician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nutritional care and support to our patients.

What you’ll do: 

Aid customers, including colleagues within the wider Sodexo business, regarding compliance with nutritional standards, menu planning, special diet provision and technical queries
Provide in-house nutrition and dietetics expertise which includes reviewing and drawing on current research, publications, and good practice.
Keep up to date on relevant nutritional and monitoring standards, including those set by the Care Quality Commission, British Dietetic Association and the National Association of Care Catering.
Provide ‘Diet and Education’ training and equivalent to Sodexo staff.
Attend nutritional steering groups.
Always seek to improve on the quality and access to nutrition and dietetics information for customers.

What you bring:

A HCPC UK Registered Dietitian (valid Health Professions Council number) and evidence regular CPD activities.
Member of BDA Food Services Specialist Group.
Minimum 3 years sound and relevant dietetics experience, some of which has been within the NHS.
Previous exposure to working as a dietitian within the food service or food manufacturing industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective time management and high level of organisation.
