Service Support Advisor - Salford

As a Service Support Advisor at Sodexo, you are more than just an IT specialist, you are a trusted problem-solver delivering technical support that's crucial to our company's success. Your role will be central in maintaining our high standard of customer service, becoming an integral part of our seamless technical operations, and keeping Sodexo at the cutting-edge of its industry.

What you’ll do:
  • Respond to and resolve user incidents and requests, such as password resets, basic troubleshooting and sharing self-help resources when appropriate
  • Maintain polite and effective communication with customers, updating them on progress and expected timescales of resolution
  • Follow escalation procedures and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions
  • Develop a deep understanding of Sodexo-specific applications and the impact of any problems
 
What you bring:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, demonstrating understanding and polite responses to queries even in stressful situations
  • Experience working with Windows Operating Systems and Office 365 Applications
  • Organised, methodical, and able to anticipate needs and take initiative
  • Experience in a Support Service environment and/or a similar role is desirable
  • Familiarity with EPOS tills, associated peripherals, and Call Management Systems is a plus
  • ITIL Awareness and the ability to work within SLA’s is advantageous

This role involves hybrid working, with 2 days per week in our Salford, Greater Manchester, office and 3 days per week from home. Our service desk operates Monday to Friday during business hours.
