We partner with the ACC Liverpool Group where a variety of national and international conferences; public and trade exhibitions and entertainment events are held. We are looking a talented Senior Sous Chef to join our team.

You will report into the Head Chef and you will be responsible for the kitchen operation ensuring service standards are met. The team cater for conferences, events and Gala dinners at the UK’s leading conference centre. This is a busy varied role suitable for an experienced candidate who wants to work within a supportive team. You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of current food trends, have the ability to bring innovation into the food offers of our events business and have experience working in a high-volume environment.

Role Responsibility

What you’ll do:

  • Support the senior kitchen brigade to ensure that financial targets are met or exceeded
  • Ensure that all members of the kitchen brigade are fully aware of and achieve their objectives
  • Communicate with Head Chef in respect of personal development, training, appraisals and long term objectives
  • To be aware of and ensure that those responsible to you are aware of all legislation that is relevant to your work and ensure that all legal requirements are met including: Health and Safety at Work, Food Safety, Allergens, COSHH, Environmental Health, Fire Precautions and any others.
  • Adherence to all Company Policies

Package Description

£33,000pa - £35,000pa + excellent benefits

Location: ACC Liverpool, Kings Dock, L34

Permanent

Work Pattern –40 hrs pw predominantly Mon to Fri but with flexibility for some weekends and match days
