Senior Health & Safety Advisor
Salary: €60,000-€65,000 plus Sodexo Benefits
Location: Dublin

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Health & Safety Advisor to lead and elevate safety performance across our Central Bank of Ireland account. This role will be integral in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with Sodexo UK&I safety standards, and supporting operational teams to deliver services safely and effectively.

You will provide expert advice, influence strategic safety initiatives, and ensure a high level of risk management, resilience and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a positive safety culture across the account
• Provide specialist Health & Safety guidance to management and operational teams
• Support the delivery and continuous improvement of Sodexo H&S and Food Safety policies
• Develop, implement and monitor compliance processes and performance systems
• Lead on incident reporting, investigation and the reduction of lost time injuries
• Produce and review risk assessments, task-specific documentation and safe systems of work
• Conduct regular audits, inspections and safety walks, reporting findings and follow-up actions
• Collaborate with the Island of Ireland HSEQ team and relevant authorities
• Support risk management and business continuity planning activities

What We’re Looking For

• Level 8 Health & Safety Diploma or equivalent qualification
• IOSH membership
• Strong experience in Hard FM / M&E operational environments
• Excellent understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
• Experience with Food Safety / HACCP and compliance systems
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving ability
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to support urgent safety matters outside normal working hours where required
