As a Security Officer at Queen Queen Marys Hospital Roehampton, you’ll play a key role in protecting patients, staff, visitors, and hospital facilities. No two days are the same, and each shift brings fresh challenges and real opportunities to make a difference in people’s lives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver a welcoming and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff

  • Monitor and respond to alarms, CCTV systems, and patrol the site

  • Escort valuable items and maintain secure handling protocols

  • Ensure accurate documentation of incidents and daily logs

  • Assist with managing hospital access and ID systems

  • Support nursing staff in escorting patients to various departments

  • Respond to emergencies swiftly and professionally

  • Monitor car park operations, ensure compliance, and handle parking disputes

  • Report safety hazards and maintain a clean and secure environment

What You Bring:

  • A holder of a valid SIA Licence

  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experienced in working in a security or healthcare setting (preferred)

  • Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure

  • Able to respond quickly and effectively to incidents or emergencies

  • Skilled in report writing with good IT and admin abilities

  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends
