Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Science Services Supervisor to join our esteemed team in Stevenage. This role is tailored for individuals passionate about providing excellent housekeeping and laboratory cleaning services, ensuring a safe and conducive working environment for all.

As a Science Services Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting the Scientific Service Lead in managing day-to-day housekeeping and laboratory cleaning activities. This involves ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and upholding high-quality standards. You'll also be supervising a team of operatives, with a keen focus on performance, behaviour, and engagement to consistently deliver exceptional service.
In addition to overseeing general areas and laboratory environments to ensure they meet client specifications and align with Sodexo's stringent standards; you'll take the lead in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. This ensures a safe workplace environment for all personnel.
Moreover, as part of your responsibilities, you'll manage the recruitment, training, and development of team members. This includes fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team, ensuring they are equipped to excel in their roles.

About You
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:
- Demonstrated leadership experience or aspirations, evidenced by a track record of managing teams in a service-oriented environment.
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and team members.
- Exhibits resilience and adaptability, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Comfortable with computer literacy, proficient in using digital tools and platforms for communication and management.
