Your focus will be the effective management of our temporary workforce, to ensure Sodexo offers a continuous and consistent service delivery within all elements of operational delivery. You will ensure recruitment and compliance checks are managed in a timely manner and in line with HR policy and procedures whilst working in partnership with all service managers to identify their recruitment needs

Role Responsibility

  • Responsible for the accurate and efficient use of Resource Planning across all services, working with operational teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Creating a strategy to drive efficiencies and make improvements to the way our workforce management system is used.
  • Ensure that systems are maintained to account for changes i.e. starters, leavers changes to rotas etc,
  • Establish excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders with Sodexo across all service lines and support functions
  • Provide updates and information to the wider management team on temporary workforce volumes, planned and unplanned absence and progress of the recruitment process.
  • Responsible for the day to day management of the recruitment process and it’s people to deliver the needs of the service.
  • Work on the strategy to attract new candidates and the process of on boarding to site, working with Senior Managers to ensure efficiency of the process.
  • Provide accurate and sufficient levels of temporary labour based on cross-site service requirements for operational delivery, working with key suppliers to ensure an efficient process is maintained.
  • Act as a single point of contact and SME for the management of a site wide pool of bank/casual workers to support with absence management and contract variations.
  • Contribute to discussions with the management team with regards to sharing ideas and best practise that will improve site performance and effective management of labour costs.
  • Ensure two-way communication between all levels of staff within the department, including management, new starters and key stakeholders.
  • Accountability for escalating potential risks identified as appropriate. These risks maybe operational, related to knowledge and people, financial, compliance or risks to company reputation.
  • Adopting a flexible and team working approach and to perform your duties and being prepared to be involved with Projects or other ad-hoc work as and when it arises.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to deliver effective service in a demanding environment, with the ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Proficient IT user – specifically with Microsoft Office applications to enable, reviewing, analysing and manipulating data electronically
  • A confident and adept communicator, with the ability to operate effectively at all levels
  • Pro-active approach to compliance with a can do attitude
  • Previous supervisory/management experience required

Desirable

  • Worked in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Knowledge of employment law/European Work Time Directive
  • Knowledge of time management systems i.e. KRONOS,
  • Knowledge of service provision within a hospital/services environment.

£25.900pa - £28.700pa + excellent benefits

Work Pattern - Monday to Friday 40hrs pw. 8am - 4.30pm
