Resourcing Advisor
Job Introduction
Sodexo are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Resourcing Advisor to join our team. This role will sit within our wider talent acquisition team and will play an important role in recruiting the best people to join our organisation.
As a Resourcing Adviser you will be accountable for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, coupled with providing a VIP candidate experience and promote Sodexo as an Employer of Choice. This role will partner with hiring managers to drive recruitment best practise so you will need to be someone who can build effective relationships and where necessary challenge and influence stakeholders to ensure we are able to hire talent in a timely and cost-efficient way.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has some talent sourcing experience, with strong administration and communication skills. This role will require security clearance checks being completed prior to start
Role Responsibility
No two days are the same in our team! As a Resourcing Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Managing a high volume of vacancies to a successful conclusion using a variety of sourcing techniques and methods including direct sourcing
- Partnering with hiring managers to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a vacancy, from approval through until hiring and onboarding
- Administration duties; uploading roles onto ATS system ensuring accuracy, advert writing to attract the best candidates on the market, updating candidates, producing accurate data reports when required and producing offer details.
- Candidate Management; managing candidate expectations, discussing suitability of roles, providing updates on application statuses, ensuring all applicants have a fantastic candidate experience regardless of the outcome.
- Sourcing candidate utilising available tools continuing to reduce reliance on 3rd party suppliers.
- For roles within business area, responsibility for providing updates to team, Business Partner and relevant HR personnel. Offering reports and forecasts for future planning.
- Providing valuable, fair and meaningful feedback to candidates in a professional manner whilst keeping them engaged in the Sodexo brand.
- Be a true brand ambassador, by promoting Sodexo's social media presence through activity.

The Ideal Candidate

- The ideal candidate will bring passion, energy and enthusiasm along with some previous talent resourcing experience, ideally in a fast paced environment recruiting multiple roles at any one time. This experience could have been gained either in house or via an agency.
- Demonstrable experience and track record in utilising creative and effective ways of sourcing quality candidates directly, as well as the confidence and interpersonal skill to be able to approach passive candidates.
- As people are our product we are looking for someone passionate about providing an excellent candidate journey regardless of the outcome. Customer service skills will be paramount.
Stakeholder communication and relationship management are vital to the success of this opportunity. You will have worked across multiple business groups and areas, dealing with varying priorities and projects, whilst providing a VIP service to our business stakeholders and across the corporation.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written will be imperative to this role.
- Ability to use the full Microsoft suite; Excel, Outlook, Teams being the most frequent.
- Highly organised administrative skills will be necessary managing the end to end cycle of recruitment, utilising ATS (applicant tracking system) to improve efficiency. The ability to manage own time effectively whilst prioritising key tasks is essential.
- This role requires a true team player, who is happy to contribute to meetings and share advice and tips to other team members in an appropriate manner. Whilst this is important you should also be able to work on your own initiative and be responsible to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Feedback is a necessary tool to develop in any role, you should be happy to offer feedback to people whether it be a candidate or a colleague in a professional, constructive manner and on the flip side be willing to receive constructive feedback to improve skills and work towards personal development goals.
