Relief Security Officer

Job Introduction

Sodexo are recruiting for a Relief Security Officer wanted for our sites in Little Island, Co. Cork. You will work between 3 sites covering holiday cover/sick cover, relief cover, various shifts. Full time employment guaranteed, when not covering shift holidays and shift changes you will be primarily assisting with security administration duties. If you are a vigilant professional with a commitment to safety and security and holder of PSA license then we want you to be part of our organisation! What you’ll do: 

• Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols 
• Monitor premises to prevent rule infractions
• Conduct regular patrols, ensuring a visible and reassuring presence
• Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Complete details reports on incidents and observations  

What you bring: 

• You must have an in date PSA Licence 
• Proven experience as a security officer or relevant positions
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
• Knowledge of basic security operations and procedures

• 3 Days (36 Hours) / 4 nights (48 Hours) - subject to change
• €13.80  per hour + Sodexo Benefits.
• Fuel and Shift allowance
