Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Covent Garden, London
Salary: £16.65 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off (early/late/night shifts)
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking professional and reliable Security Officers to join our team at our new Covent Garden site. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors. This position requires individuals who are alert, customer-focused, and able to respond effectively to security incidents.

Main Responsibilities

Carry out all security duties as specified, ensuring full compliance with site assignment instructions.
Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring all visitors and contractors are correctly identified and escorted where necessary.
Conduct regular patrols to maintain security and safety across the premises.
Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents and alarms.
Complete relevant security documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Deliver excellent customer service to staff and visitors at all times.

What You Bring

A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
Prior experience in a security role, ideally within a high-profile or corporate environment.
Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as part of a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
Additional qualifications as detailed in the job description are desirable.
Security vetting clearance will be required prior to commencement.
