We are looking for a versatile individual who can adapt to the evolving needs of students and confidently assume various roles. The ideal candidate should possess strong relational skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, both within our organisation and externally. This role demands flexibility, adaptability, and a keen sense of understanding diverse student requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive Performance Across FM Workstreams: Effectively lead all Facility Management (FM) aspects within the University of Greenwich student accommodation portfolio.
  • Strategic Leadership and Execution: Lead the team to ensure strategic objectives and tactics are communicated and executed to meet both contract and segment targets.
  • Innovation and Best Practice Cultivation: Encourage and share innovative practices and best practices across the wider business unit.
  • Exceptional Student Experience Creation: Work closely with various stakeholders to create an outstanding living and learning environment for students.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively to deliver the contract in a cost-efficient manner for both the client and Sodexo.
  • Service Quality and Innovation Management: Proactively manage service quality and introduce new initiatives in line with market trends and Sodexo policies.
  • Health and Safety Culture Maintenance: Focus on building and maintaining a strong health and safety culture with a zero-harm mindset.

 What you bring:

  • Adaptable, student-focused professional who can switch roles and work confidently with senior internal/external stakeholders.

  • Deep built-environment/FM expertise, strong grasp of sector changes, and experience managing subcontracted services.

  • Proven at shaping great workplace experiences across functions, using data/analytics to drive decisions.

  • Strong commercial acumen: supports account growth and has hands-on P&L management.

  • Continuous-improvement mindset with resilience in overcoming challenges.

  • Excellent communicator and presenter; builds long-term relationships; enthusiastic and confident.

  • Effective people leader with the ability to influence and manage teams.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with NEC4 contracts (or ready to learn).

  • Experienced in delivering change management.

  • Must hold a valid Driving License
