Recruitment Area Lead - COVID-19 Testing Centres

Job Introduction

We are currently looking for a Recruitment Area Lead to join our team in recruiting a large workforce to support the COVID-19 Testing facilities. The successful candidate will lead a team of recruitment resourcers. 

To increase testing for COVID-19, the Government has significantly increased the number of centres where key workers can be tested. As the programme ramps up further, additional testing and facilities support is needed across the UK. The Recruitment Resourcer work as part of a team to support Sodexo in recruiting the required volume of candidates for these roles. 

This is an extremely busy role where priorities can change daily, and so we are looking for someone who is focused, flexible and adaptable who has a passion for recruitment. The role holder will work remotely and so can be based anywhere in the UK. 

Sodexo reserves the right to alter the site location and close this advert early if we are in receipt of a high number of applications.

Role Responsibility

  • Supporting the team in order to ensure they understand their daily priorities and are set up for success
  • Coach, mentor and train mentor team members
  • Preparing and attending all client, deployment and Team Lead calls then taking the lead on recruitment topics, providing a full update on recruitment matter and that all queries/questioned are answered. 
  • Liaising with Area Managers on the selection process for Internal Candidates for Management positions
  • Place adverts, cleanse adverts in order to keep candidates updated as to where their application is us too (rejects/incompletes/holding emails)
  • Ensure team screening is within SLA (working towards agreed timeframes / openings of new sites)
  • Assist candidates through the onboarding for the roles (RTW/ Onboarding Paperwork)
  • Providing feedback for Management positions following selection process
  • Collate and run through end of day to ensure workload is met and backfills actioned
  • Report on any concerns to Resourcing manager or Head of Recruitment in real time
  • Trials of new ways of working and providing detailed account of pros/cons of ways of working where areas could be streamlined (SJT / Video Interviews / New Trackers/Deployment duties)

The Ideal Candidate

ELIGIBILITY:

Must be able to work from 0830hrs to 1700hrs Monday to Friday

Must have a strong internet connection at home

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Resourcing or Recruitment Experience in a fast paced environment
  • IT literate competent in MS software such as Teams. Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a supportive nature
  • Very strong organisation skills
  • Experience of managing a team

  • Working remotely
  • Managing a team remotely

Package Description

Competitive Salary

This position will primarily be Monday - Friday however flexibility is essential as you may be required to work weekends to meet business needs
