Quality and Compliance Officer (Hard FM)

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity within Sodexo healthcare segment for a Quality and Compliance Officer to join our site-based team in Manchester.

In this role you will ensure the provision of a legally & contractually compliant, cost effective, timely, & quality driven maintenance service to our PFI client, through the operation of an auditing regime, and the maintenance of quality assurance systems.

This is a unique opportunity to work on one of the biggest PFI hospital sites in Europe and play a key role in identifying opportunities for innovation and modernization!

Due to the nature of this role you will be required to complete Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure contractual and statutory compliance, and drive innovation and continual improvement of service provision
  • Establish and operate an internal auditing programme of the Hard FM services, including production of action plans, tracking close-out of recommendations, and producing reports as required
  • Assist in all audits on the Sodexo Hard FM services including attendance at audits, production of action plans, tracking close-out of recommendations, and producing reports as required
  • Provide technical engineering advice and support for the maintenance of equipment, fabric and utility services for the estate
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and safe systems of work are followed
  • Manage the quality assurance monitoring programme and carry out joint monitoring activities with the client
  • Monitor and report data within the Quality Assurance and other management reporting systems

The Ideal Candidate

What’s essential:

  • C&G/BTEC qualification in an engineering discipline, or equivalent and ISO 9001:2015 Lead/Internal Auditor qualification, or equivalent
  • Experience within an engineering trade
  • Substantial experience in a quality assurance and/or quality auditing role
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety at Work, and other relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and Technical/report writing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing priorities

Where we can be flexible:

  • Experience and/or specialist knowledge of engineering within a healthcare environment (HTM guidance etc.)
  • Experience and understanding of PFI contracts, especially in a healthcare environment
  • Wide ranging engineering experience at a supervisory level

Up to £37,000 + benefits
