Project Operational Support Manager
Job Introduction
Our UK Healthcare segment has a fantastic opportunity in a pioneering new role for a Projects and Operational Support Manager to join our talented and hardworking team base at Sodexo Health & Care, Oxford Road Campus, Manchester, M13 9WL.
Being able to deliver the broad ranging support needed across all services to plan, prepare, communicate, instigate, lead, implement and co-ordinate projects, innovations and initiatives and drive all aspects of their integration into operations would be key to this role.
In addition to lead strategic data and information management around labour, retail, logistics etc to drive efficiencies and financial improvement. To support the operational management teams in service performance improvements, increased financial efficiency and, at times, deputise for the Heads of Service. These expectations apply to Soft and Hard FM services.

Role Responsibility

To engage Sodexo colleagues and Trust representatives as required around projects and initiatives to generate consistency of understanding and collaboration at all levels

To identify opportunities for service efficiency using tools and system such as KRONOS, HIVE, LeanPath, Saffron, Rightime and any other available system

To be the site lead for IT infrastructure projects and upgrades – be that hard or software

To drive and lead harmonious relationships and communication on site amongst all teams and externally to the Trust and ProjectCo. Act as a flagship conduit for external visitors to site

To comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures including COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and fire regulations

To implement and maintain all Statutory and Company policies and procedures, communicating it to all staff and ensuring full compliance

Responsible for managing staff within area of responsibility in line with the appropriate policies in relation to issues including conduct, performance, absence, grievance, fair treatment, pay progression, leave and all other HR policies

To help BD in preparation of the annual business plan for ORC and support in the writing of an annual report for the same services.

The Ideal Candidate
-
Experience operating multi-services in healthcare environment
-
PFI experience, preferably in healthcare setting

Business Management experience at a senior level.

Proven experience of managing client relationships with the ability to influence key decision makers.

Ability to manage operations against an agreed specification demonstrating strong P&L expertise, commercial acumen and core numeracy and accounting skills.

Project management experience

Results focused with excellent communication skills.

- £45'000-£47'000
- 40 hours Permanent
- 24/7 Operation, some weekends may be required to suit needs of business
