- Location: HMP Peterborough
- Working hours: 20 hours per week - Hours would be 10:00 - 14:30 which includes a 1/2-hour break however start and finish times are negotiable.

We’re looking for a Part-Time Workforce Planning Administrator at HMP Peterborough to support the smooth operation of our workforce scheduling and planning processes. This position involves ensuring that the workforce is adequately staffed and aligned with business needs. The administrator typically works on a part-time basis, providing support in areas such as scheduling, tracking attendance, and analysing workforce data.
Experience and knowledge:
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up-to-date and securely stored.
- Assist in producing management information and reports, identifying trends and patterns to support operational efficiency.
- Oversee filing systems to ensure compliance with prison service orders and instructions.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, enabling the smooth and cost-effective running of the function.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the prison to ensure safety and operational effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Take on additional duties as needed to support the wider team and ensure flexibility within the role.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency with IT systems and applications.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Health, social welfare or voluntary sector experience is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of the English legal system is desirable but not essential.
