Night Shift Cleaner
Job Introduction
We currently have an opportunity for a Night Shift Cleaner to join our team at one of the new tourist/visitors’ attractions in Central Edinburgh. You will be an experienced cleaner with experience in cleaning to a high standard and great customer focus as you will be responsible for ensuring the site is clean, safe and welcoming to the customers. As you would work by yourself at times during your shift, you should be able to think on your feet, be resourceful and able to operate with minimal supervision. You will however have a support from the wider Sodexo team on site.
Your work week would consist of 24.5 hours on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, starting work at 22:00hrs and finishing at 05:30hrs. What is in it for you? Role Responsibility
- Cleaning and sanitising all areas of the building
- Replacing consumables throughout washrooms for public facing areas and staff areas
- Utilising specialist machinery to clean floors
- Periodic deep cleans of areas
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in working in a similar role
- Understanding of COSHH
- BICS or CPSS trained
- Experience of working with specialist cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent awareness skills
