Systems we look after HVAC, Electrical distribution/final circuits, Server room/ MER room power, Pre-action sprinkler set, fire systems and management, tenants generator set, ATS, UPS and associate switchboard, Simmtronic lighting system/emergency light testing and remedials, Building Fabric, Water quality management, localized hot water heaters/ cylinders waste pumps etc.
Duties:
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as allocated by helpdesk or management. Including, but not limited to fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
- Duties may also include carrying out various non-specialist building fabric/plumbing maintenance tasks. There is a fabric engineer on site but looking for someone who will also help out when required, we all help each other out.
- To close / update completed PPM/RM tasks on the site CAFM system using a PDA. Ensure Maximo system is updated via issued PDA or and helpdesk so that all time is accounted for.
- Take ownership of their jobs RM and PPM and the standard of their work, ensuring H&S standards are met (Risk Assessments, Method Statements, permits to work to ensure Safe systems of work), log books updated accordingly.
- Willing to train to become a site LVAP; one of 2 onsite. Attend L8 training. Training courses would be scheduled after successful completion of the probationary period.
What we are looking for:
- An Electrically qualified multi-skilled engineer (holding relevant technical qualifications and experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience within a building services role (commercial environment)
- Willing to train to become a site LVAP; one of two onsite. Attend L8 training.
- Physically fit; will be required to carry out remedial work to fan coil units, lighting etc within ceiling voids and lift raised panel access tiles for access to power track under floor.
- A good work ethic, personable, well presented, willing to learn, take on responsibility and be proactive. Looking to further their career.
- Desirable
- Previous HVAC maintenance experience in AHU/FCU maintenance; fan changes, filter changes, replacing actuators and diagnosing faults on controls, MCC Panels.
- Experience in Water quality management; L8 monitoring and remedial action 2391 inspection and testing, AM2
- Experience in utilizing and diagnosing issues with Simmtronic lighting control system
Essential
- City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical City & Guilds Level 3/Electrical 18th edition
- Minimum 3 years experience in a building services role with commercial experience

Package Description
- Multi-skilled engineer (electrical bias)
- Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00 and 09:00-18:00
- 40 hours per week
- £20.20 per hour + Sodexo Benefits
- Overtime is readily available FCU maintenance, Emergency lighting testing, remedial works, additional project works, escorting contractors out of hours I’m looking for someone who is willing to do overtime!
- Call-out rota 1-in-3 £100 for being on call, 4 hours minimum if called out!
