Multi-skilled Technical Services Operative
Job Introduction
To assist with the successful and safe delivery of basic engineering maintenance on-site and other tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager, Site Contract Manager and facilities representatives
Role Responsibility
• To assist with plumbing biased activities and mechanical fault finding
• To successfully deliver light engineering maintenance on site
• To ensure the safe testing, operation and maintenance of all light plant and equipment within contract / scope
• To comply with the Company's Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Procedures, ensuring that all work is undertaken in accordance with industry best practice
• To maintain records in line with company procedures and maintain records library, including maintenance of Integrated Management System
• To populate and complete all job sheets
• To build professional relationships with stakeholders
• To issue and close permits, ensuring the permit log is kept up-to-date
The Ideal Candidate
- Industrial/manufacturing environment Experience
- City & Guild 6129-22 or NVQ General Plumbing or relevent experience
- Some practical and theoretical knowledge of decorating and decorating industry best practice
- IOSHH Working Safely or Equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong IT skills, with specific knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
Package Description
- We operate Demand Led Scheduling that will be discussed in detail at interview
- Working hours Mon - Thurs 14.00 - 22.30 and Fri 10.30 - 19.00 and occasional Saturday working
- Base rate £9.93 with 20% shift premium for late shift, equalling £14.40.
- We require our staff to be customer focused and flexible thus enabling us, as a team, to provide our Clients with an excellent service.
