Management Accountant
Job Introduction
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced part qualified/qualified Management Accountant to join our team in Manchester. You will be responsible for all related transactional and financial reporting duties within the Wythenshawe Soft Services PFI contract; ensuring accurate, efficient and timely trading of accounts information, financial accounting, reporting & analysis is provided, along with the management of the onsite soft services finance admin team.

This role will be based at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester.

Role Responsibility
- Support on-site soft services finance admin and operational teams to deliver weekly and monthly trading, payroll and reporting processes to comply with Company Standards within the identified timescales and deadlines
- Assist in providing regular and ad-hoc MI, analysis and reporting, including weekly analysis and interrogation, ensuring compliance in trading procedures for E-ProphIT returns
- Raise accurate client invoices for all regular services and ad-hoc work, ensuring appropriate back-up is provided, prompt payment is received and any payment issues are escalated
- Calculate fixed bill uplifts and support the Commercial Financial Controller and operations management in the pricing and administration of variations
- Take leading role in the weekly site finance reviews to review weekly / monthly KPIs with site operations, monitor agreed actions and outcomes and ensure all risks and opportunities are highlighted
- Work with the operations team to support the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts submissions. Update and circulate all budget/forecast models to Operations
- Analyse and report on monthly stock holding levels, working with service managers to ensure that stock levels are optimised.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified / Part qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Management accounts experience
- Experience of managing a small team
- Strong IT and analytical skills
- Ability to generate meaningful management information, produce financial reports in a clear and concise manner for financial and non-financial personnel
- Excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting effectively with customers, client and staff of all levels
Desirable:
- SAP and Essbase skills
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience of working with non-finance colleagues
