Join us and become part of a team that values expertise, dedication, and the difference you make every day. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to work with purpose and grow in a dynamic, supportive environment.

  • Carry out installation, maintenance, repair, and corrective actions as the “Competent Person” under Sodexo SSOW, electrical permits, BS7671, HTMs, and Electricity at Work Act.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations during all tasks.
  • Perform statutory and non-statutory repairs and planned preventive maintenance (PPM), advising supervisors on required remedial actions.
  • Conduct fault-finding diagnostics on electrical systems in a healthcare environment and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Understand mechanical, plumbing, and building systems relevant to healthcare settings.
  • Participate in emergency responses including Out of Hours ‘On Call,’ 15-Minute Response, and Lift Release Warden duties.
  • Engage in Continued Professional Development (CPD) both on-site and externally.
  • Be available for out-of-hours maintenance, generator testing, and potentially work at heights using access equipment.
  • May work alone, drive company vehicles, work overtime or shift patterns, and undertake additional duties as directed by management or on other Sodexo contracts.

What You Bring:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds/NVQ)
  • Current with 18th Edition IET Regulations (or equivalent)
  • Solid fault-finding, problem-solving, and technical repair skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and diagnose issues.
  • Excellent time management, teamwork, and communication
  • A positive, initiative-taking approach—able to work independently or as part of a team.
