Job Introduction

Sodexo Live! are actively recruiting for a Logistics Team Leader to join our team based from Craven Cottage, the home of Fulham Football Club (FFC)! Your focus will be to assist the operational management team in the preparation of the Craven Cottage match day and non-match day events and the Sodexo logistics team onsite with logistics support.

Fulham Pier is becoming one of London’s leading leisure destinations on the banks of the Thames which include restaurants, a Riverside Market, meetings and events spaces, bars and lounges, a basement entertainment venue, a boutique hotel and a spa experience

Sodexo Live! delivers hospitality, retail and non-event day sales and catering at the iconic Craven Cottage.

You will have proven relevant experience ideally in food and beverage logistics; you will be able to multitask and communicate with confidence at all levels. Role Responsibility

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers. Ensuring all orders received are correct, complete, received in a timely manner, stored correctly, and recorded using the inventory stock system.
  • Ensure all required areas are fully stocked and merchandised
  • Monitor and communicate stock levels for all departments, coordinating the rotation of short shelf-life products to limit over-ordering and ensure wastage is kept to a minimum. Supervise and carry out monthly and year end stock taking process for all consumable catering goods within the stadium
  • Ensures logistics team members always work in a safe manner in line with company Health & Safety processes and procedures as well as undertaking risk assessments. Plan, arrange and manage the training of the logistics team in skills such as forklift truck operation, manual handling and the safe use of a pallet truck, trollies, and sack barrows
  • Ensure all logistics areas are cleaned to a high standard in readiness for event days
  • Report any maintenance issues to the Logistics Management team
  • Oversee the variable logistics team on non-match days and event days ensuring work is completed on time and on specification
  • Support the Operations team with logistical needs in setting up rooms, furniture moving and storing

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, planning, organisational and people management skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and clients
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Previous stock control and warehouse experience
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient who enjoys working in a high achieving environment
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office
  • People management experience
  • Manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities
  • Ability to operate to performance criteria, for example, health and safety, hygiene
  • Food Safety and Health and Safety qualifications to level 3 (desired), catering background

Desirable

  • Forklift licence and Driver’s licence 

Package Description

£28,000 to £31,000pa + great benefits

Location: Fulham Football Club, London SW6 6HH

Permanent

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw 5/7 with flexibility as you will be required to work all match days and attend major event days
