Inventory Controller / Logistics Operative

Job Introduction

• Job Purpose:

  To Provide all services/materials as required by Pharm Science in line with the agreed service level. Key performance indicators, high standards of safety, quality of service, making efficient use of resources, space and equipment.

  To provide a quality service for all our customers within our client`s remit.

  Accountabilities:

• Liaise with new/and or existing clients to establish requirements of materials to be stored
• To maintain effective stock levels based on the current demand.
• Support  procurement with vendor management/support
• Use of Inventory Management System (IMS), SAP, email and other software applications
• Continual trend analysis of product parameters
• Monthly updating of MRP data to ensure ordering in line with latest demand
• Produce purchase orders in good time to maintain inventory managed stock levels
• Vendor performance monitoring and chasing overdue purchase orders

• Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: 

• Minimum two years experience in customer account management in a dynamic environment
• This jobs requires a clean driving license and forklift driving license! 
• Well developed and adaptable interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to plan and forecast business needs
• Working knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry
