IT Project Manager
As an IT Project Manager at Sodexo, you'll be responsible for the planning and coordination of large, complex IT projects such as infrastructure migrations, software rollouts, network upgrades and more. You'll enjoy exposure to lots of different client types and requirements across the full Sodexo business covering government & public sector, education, healthcare, corporate clients, events and more, with a range of services offered in these areas meaning truly varied technologies and project scopes.
Role Responsibility
What you'll do
- Own the definition, documentation and ongoing management of large, complex projects with managed budgets in excess of £250k, durations greater than 12 months, and teams spanning multiple business functions
- Head up a cross-functional project team, using project management best practices and methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of projects through collaboration, guidance and management of deliverables and outputs
- Engage with stakeholders from the business and IT, communicating in different ways such as workshops, meetings and updates to build interpersonal relationships, determine requirements and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Undertake accurate and effective planning and prioritisation, as well as report on project timelines and share RAID management updates to senior stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in a Project Manager role, working with a range of IT projects (infrastructure, networking, 3rd party applications, etc.) to have built up a broad knowledge of the IT function
- Experience through the full project management lifecycle, from requirements gathering and project definition, to delivery and post-go-live support
- Superb stakeholder engagement at all levels of seniority, and in various formats, including workshops and management meetings
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with knowledge of project and programme management best practices and methodologies
- A professional qualification such as Prince, APM, MSP or PGMP
