Health and Safety Advisor
Job Introduction
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to support and enhance our safety culture across all service lines at the Central Bank of Ireland. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with Sodexo UK&I Health & Safety, Food Safety, Risk, Business Continuity, and Environmental policies and processes. You will provide expert guidance, drive continuous improvement, and support operational teams in maintaining a safe and resilient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a positive health and safety culture across the account
- Provide operational support and expert advice on occupational health and safety matters
- Implement and monitor Sodexo’s Health & Safety and Food Safety policies
- Lead environmental, health, and safety planning and performance management
- Support the development of risk registers and business continuity plans
- Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and ensure timely reporting and investigation
- Develop and approve local operating procedures and site-specific documentation
- Engage with the wider HSEQ community to drive best practices and innovation
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Membership of IOSH
- Experience in a Hard FM or M&E environment
- Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
- Experience with Food Safety and HACCP
- Proven ability to implement safety and quality systems
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Package Description
- Location- Dublin D01 F7X3
- 39 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 60,000 euros per annum + Sodexo benefits
