Head of Strategic Insights

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Head of Strategic Insights to lead the collection, production, and analysis of client, consumer, market, competitor, and service line insights for Sodexo's Corporate Services segment in the UK & Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of Sodexo's Corporate Services segment and make a significant impact on the company's overall success. You will be responsible for transforming Sodexo into an insights and data driven decision making culture.

You will have an opportunity to influence and improve decisions, strategic planning processes, and initiatives working closely with the Executive Management Team within wider Marketing function.

In this role, you will work closely with Sales and Operational functions at all levels of seniority to ensure that the insights you provide are impactful and influence decision-making across the organization. You will also own the end-to-end Customer and Client Insights Strategy and ensure consistency in the delivery of all insight’s activities within the marketing function.

Role Responsibility

  • Client insights – working closely with Sodexo’s Clients for Life Team and extract valuable information from various surveys and analysis that this teams leads on behalf of Sodexo as a whole
  • Facilitate strategic client workshops in close collaboration with Client Relationship Director and the rest of the Strategy, Marketing and Transformation (SMT) Team.
  • Competitor Insights – quarterly analysis of competitor activities, attendance of industry events, active participation, and where possible lead role of Strategy development
  • Consumer Insights – leading consumer surveys on behalf of our clients with recommendations on service improvements and/or change
  • Market Insights – continuous review of market trends and economic activities, supporting Director of Marketing, Strategy & Execution in development of CS strategy and business plan
  • Project Management and result execution of annual client survey
  • Quarterly issue of CS – Insights Point of View
  • Contributing to the Strategic review of CS strategy and business plan

The Ideal Candidate

You will have experience in managing end to end client and consumer strategy process within food and workplace management environment.

You will also have:

  • Experience in facilitating strategic workshops and leading Executive team in the strategy development process
  • A passion and demonstrated track record of project management
  • Commercial and industry acumen and knowledge of external workplace management service and retail developments & innovations
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills to ensure commitment throughout the business to quality standards of food and service within offers
  • The ability to think strategically and deliver project goals
  • Project management and KPI setting & tracking

Although the position is home based there will be regular travel to London.
